Trace Crossings is the planned community south of I-459 at exit 10, along Stadium Trace Parkway and Brock’s Gap Parkway in west Hoover. It surrounds the Hoover Metropolitan Complex and Hoover High School. Hoover’s comprehensive plan calls the I-459 and AL 150 interchange “the fastest developing area of Hoover” and says most of the city’s residential building at the time was happening to the south, along Stadium Trace Parkway.
