Hoover’s burger places line Montgomery Highway (U.S. 31), where McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Whataburger sit north of the Riverchase Galleria, and Chace Circle beside the Galleria, with Baha Burger and Five Guys. Jack’s is on Lorna Road, Hardee’s and The Craft Burger are off Valleydale Road, and Culver’s and Milo’s are on the U.S. 280 side of the city.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Hoover’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We left out Back Yard Burgers, whose Hoover page is no longer on its site; Burger King, Krystal and Sonic, whose location pages did not load for us; Freddy’s, whose site has no Hoover page we could find; and Front Porch, which has no website we could find and no second record. Baha Burger on Chace Circle is one of two Baha Burger restaurants; its site lists the other in Vestavia Hills. The site posts one set of hours above both addresses.

The Craft Burger on Caldwell Mill Road, which it calls its Valleydale Road location, is one of two Craft Burger restaurants; its site lists the other on U.S. 280. It takes online orders through its site.

Culver’s on Tattersall Boulevard in the Greystone area is a location of the burger and frozen custard chain, and its page posts a custard flavor of the day and a monthly flavor calendar.

Five Guys on Chace Circle is a location of the burger and fries chain. Its page lists dine-in, takeout, delivery and outdoor seating.

Hardee’s on Valleydale Road is a location of the fast food chain, open from 5 a.m. Monday to Saturday.

Jack’s on Lorna Road is a Jack’s Family Restaurant, open from 5 a.m. on weekdays. Its page uses a Birmingham mailing address; the restaurant is inside Hoover’s city limits.

McDonald’s at 1547 Montgomery Highway posts restaurant and lobby hours that run past midnight, with separate drive-thru hours on its page.

Milo’s Hamburgers Inverness at Inverness Corners serves the chain’s original cheeseburger and fries, with chicken tenders and nuggets, for dine-in or the drive-thru.

Wendy’s at 1791 Montgomery Highway is a location of the national chain, with the same hours every day.

Whataburger at 1727 Montgomery Highway is a location of the Texas chain, which serves made-to-order burgers along with breakfast biscuits and pancakes. Its page lists the dining room, drive-thru and delivery as open 24 hours.
